Please note: The trend line will not always extend back to the axis depending on your first data point. To fix this, when in the "Format Trendline" box, go to the Forecast section and click into the "Backwards" box. Enter the x-value of your first data point to extend the trend line back. If this doesn't quite work (your axes become negative), play around with the value by making it slightly smaller.
